Emily Del Real is a Program Coordinator at the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD), joining the staff in 2016. Emily coordinates the Digital Ready program that advances the capacity of small businesses and communities to strengthen their knowledge and application of broadband strategies. Additionally, she coordinates the Business Retention & Expansion and Economic Gardening programs. These programs align with the Extension Community Development (CD) thematic areas of Leadership & Civic Engagement, Economic & Business Development, Local Government Education and Quality Places.
In her role, Emily collaborates with Purdue University Extension CD leaders and educators on the development of educational needs of Extension CD stakeholders. Additionally, she is responsible for creating project timelines, planning and marketing programs, developing/editing curriculum products, financial management, tracking/reporting program metrics and key successes and coordination of Community Extension web pages and analytics.
Emily’s previous positions at Purdue University include program coordinator in the Krannert School of Management and serving as an assistant director in the Division of Financial Aid. Emily holds a B.A. degree in Social Work from Purdue University with an educational focus in business management.
