The Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD) and the Purdue Manufacturing Extension Program (Purdue MEP) are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Julie Rigrish to a joint position with the two Purdue-based organizations. In her new role, Ms. Rigrish will market and assist in the delivery of key programs available from PCRD and Purdue MEP, including the Manufacturing Skills for Success initiative, Economic Gardening, and Digital Ready Small Business initiatives. Furthermore, she will serve as a valuable conduit for connecting manufacturers and regional planning organizations to the resources and capabilities of both Purdue MEP and PCRD.
Julie recently served as Regional Director of the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center and has extensive experience working with small-to-medium sized firms, local economic development organizations, and banking/financial institutions in the southeast area of Indiana. Her new office will be located at the Purdue Technology Center of Southeast Indiana in New Albany.
