Community Forum to take Place for the North Central Indiana Regional Planning Council

Posted by Melinda Grismer on November 04, 2016, in SET.

Residents of Cass, Clinton, Fulton, Howard, Miami and Tipton Counties are invited to participate in either of two public forums on Nov. 14 or Nov. 21, 2016.

The forums will launch the region's Stronger Economies Together regional planning process where counties will collaborate to develop and implement an economic development blueprint for their multicounty region that strategically builds on the current and emerging economic strengths of the region.

Stronger Economies together will serve as one of the first steps for the region becoming a formal regional organization known as the North Central Indiana Regional Planning Council.

At the forums, participants will have the opportunity to offer input on ways to build upon the region's strengths and opportunities, as well as address the region's unique challenges in order to build a strong regional economic development plan.

A meal will be provided for forum participants.

Information on both forums can be found below. Each forum will include the same information, please attend whichever event is more convenient for your schedule.
