Industry to Industry Correlations: Similar Locations (Agribusiness Cluster Correlation Values)
Industry-to-industry correlations reveal Pearson correlations between industry pairs, indicating colocation. It shows which industry sectors are appearing together geographically. The Tableau-based example illustrates correlations between industry sectors included in the Agribusiness, Food Processing, and Manufacturing cluster. The visualization is based on the County Business Patterns 2022 data. |

Industry-to-industry correlations based on occupations show similar staffing patterns or labor force and skills requirements between industry pairs. The interactive graphic shows Pearson correlations of +0.5 or higher for similar occupations. The interactive visualization reveals that some industry pairs are more related in terms of labor requirements, which is an important characteristic for industry clusters. The visualization is based on National Industry Occupation Employment Matrix (NIOEM) data for 2023, available from Lightcast and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). |

The visualization is based on National Industry Occupation Employment Matrix (NIOEM) data for 2023, available from Lightcast and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). |
