Get to know me
Maria Wiltse is the Program Evaluation and Measurement Specialist for the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD). In her role, Maria focuses on the internal and external evaluation as well as the measurement performance of the Center.
She is a former Program Coordinator at PCRD (2017-2020). During her position as a program coordinator, she managed all aspects of the Hometown Collaboration Initiative (HCI), a community development program in partnership with the Purdue Extension Community Program, Ball State University’s Indiana Communities Institute and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).
Maria’s areas of expertise are Rural communities, building capacity, civic engagement, community program evaluation and performance measurement, community assessments, qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods, and project management.
Maria holds a master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Purdue University.
